Mood: Grumpy and I want to complain :)

I bought the Total Immersion book!
Finally, I was able to buy the Total Immersion book by Terry Laughlin. I ordered it on Amazon and hope that it takes less than 14 days to get here!!

Strength training and stretching
Great strength training today! Felt great!! I think that strength training is one of my favorites of the weekly routine. I did full body strength training with free weights and a medicine ball. I did two sets of 12 counting: 1-2-3 up, hold 1, 1-2 down, hold 1 and repeat. [...]

30 min. swim…
30 minute swim: breast, side and back stroke. I am feeling a lot better today. I can now walk without a limp…lol. The swim really made me feel better to, I felt a difference when I got out of the pool. I also did some stretching which felt nice on the [...]

I DID IT!!!!!! :)
I finished the 1/2 marathon! I am so excited because I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to even finish it since this 1/2 marathon would have been my longest distance. And I am so excited to find and sign up for my next event… YIPEE!!!

Last run!!!
Last run before the 1/2 marathon on Sunday. I took the pace a little slower than usual because my shins and calves are sore and I want that to go away by Sunday morning. I will also put some ice on them tonight which always helps.

Strength training and stretching
Full body strength training, less reps and sets with heavier weights. Some butt ‘n’ gut and stretching. Felt great! I feel like I am starting to tone up a bit. YAY!! Weighed myself this morning and I haven’t lost anything in the last week, but I didn’t gain…so that’s great!! [...]
