I’m a woman from Colorado - born in 1983 and I have been married for 7 years!!
My goals are: to continue to loose weight, tone all over, increase strength and endurance and complete my first sprint triathlon now that I have recently completed my first 1/2 marathon! Longterm I want to complete a sprint triathlon and someday be competitive in a triathlon and not just crawl across the finish line. :) Right now I am about 40 lbs. heavier than that picture of my lab and I. I posted that picture because it reminds me that I lost the weight once I can do it again!! So one of my big goals right now is to be healthy and break the bad habits and for the first time in my life, to participate in athletic events and not just dream about it!
My favorite sports include: running (well jog/walk right now), strength training, cycling, swimming, kickboxing and hiking. I would like to take up canoeing and do more snowshoeing.
My other favorite activities include: Hanging out with the family and friends, playing with my lab and husky, scrapbooking, reading and watching movies.
I am now a Certified Personal Trainer and would like to start my own business, and also important, look like a personal trainer and “practice what I preach.” This all fits in with that goal to be healthier.
I really look forward to reaching my goals and making new ones and becoming an official triathlete.
